This app keeps that design exactly as it was made and lets you write on top of it, on iPhone and iPad, with everything saved to your account as you go. You need a planner first. Planners are purchased separately. Sign in here with the email address from your order and the planners you own appear on your shelf. Nothing to import and no file to keep track of. The app fetches each planner itself. WRITE THE WAY YOU WRITE ON PAPER • Pen and highlighter with real pressure and tilt from Apple Pencil • Rest your hand on the page. Palm rejection is on by default, and you can set it to Pencil only or switch it off • Straight lines, arrows, rectangles and circles from one tool • Eraser, lasso, undo and redo • A laser pointer that leaves no mark • Left-handed? Move the toolbar to the other side in Account MORE THAN INK • Stickers you drag onto the page and resize • Photos from your camera or library, cropped in place • Voice memos recorded straight onto a page • Text boxes anywhere, in the size and color you want • Tap a mapped field to type in it. Dates, notes, habits and checklists are real entries on your account, not marks on a picture ALWAYS WHERE YOU LEFT IT • No Save button. Your work is written about a second after you stop • Every planner reopens on the last page you were reading, on any device you sign in from • Bookmarks, a page thumbnail strip, and jump to page • Write on your iPad and your iPhone catches up in seconds • If two devices change the same thing, you are shown both and you pick WHEN THE SIGNAL DROPS Your planners are copied to this device as they arrive on your shelf, so a planner opens with no connection at all. Keep writing while you are offline: pen, stickers, text and typed entries are written to the device as you make them, survive the app being closed, and go up to your account when you are back. The first copy of a planner comes over whatever connection you are on, so a new one is best opened on Wi-Fi. Either way the app is straight with you about saving: it shows what has reached your account and what has not, rather than letting you find out later. YOURS, AND PRIVATE • Lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID, with your device passcode as the backup • Turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app • Photos and voice memos stay on your device and are never uploaded • Delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app • Account lists exactly what is stored on this device and clears it in one tap • Optional reminders to plan in the morning and check in at night, scheduled on your device rather than sent from a server WHAT THIS IS NOT It is not a general note-taking app, and it will not let you redraw the artwork.
