PuddlePin: Splash Log

PuddlePin: Splash Log is a family catalog of puddles spotted during walks, trips, and everyday outings. After a rain, familiar streets can look completely different. In some places, a small puddle appears near the curb, in others, a huge streak of water stretches across the entire sidewalk, and some spots collect water again after every rain. PuddlePin helps you save these observations and turn them into a unique family collection. Create a separate entry for each puddle you find, add a photo, indicate the location, and note its approximate size. Optionally, leave short comments about the weather, your walk, or other details related to the find. With PuddlePin: Splash Log, you can easily: • photograph puddles you find; • save the location of your observation; • note their approximate size; • add the date; • leave short notes; • compare different finds; • return to previous entries; • Collect a family history of walks. The app can be used as a little game during walks with children. Who will spot the biggest puddle? Where did you find the most unusual shape? Did water appear in the same place after the next rain? Such simple observations make a familiar route more interesting. Photos help preserve the appearance of each find. Later, you can open old notes and compare how the same place changed after different rains or in different seasons. You can record the size in a convenient format—from a small puddle to a large patch of water. The key isn't precise measurements, but the ability to quickly distinguish between observations and notice recurring features. PuddlePin is suitable for family walks, short explorations of the surrounding area, and those times when you want to capture a fun moment without long notes. Over time, the catalog turns into a collection of places, weather, and small discoveries. Even an ordinary puddle can remind you of a walk, a rainy day, or a fun route home. All entries are collected in one place, making them easy to view and compare later. PuddlePin: Splash Log helps you take a closer look at familiar streets, save your observations, and create a simple family chronicle of rainy walks.
