About
Plothush is a messenger that starts by knowing nothing about you. No phone number. No email address. No name. Your account is a key generated on your device, and your handle comes from that key — so there is nothing to look up, nothing to sell, and nothing to hand over. WHAT IT DOES Messages, group chats, photos, files and calls are end-to-end encrypted. We hold the scrambled bytes and no key that opens them. One-to-one voice and video calls are encrypted the same way. Your contact list never leaves your phone. The app contains no code that can read it — there is no address-book permission, because there is nothing to permit. Nobody can message you until you let them. A stranger has to ask first, and you see who is asking before a word reaches you. Block anyone, at any time. WHAT OUR SERVERS NEVER LEARN Most apps tell you what they protect. Plothush publishes a list of what the server genuinely never learns, and you can read it inside the app before you trust us with anything: • Your phone number — you never gave one • What you say — end-to-end encrypted, with forward secrecy • Your contact list — it stays on your device • Who is in your groups — membership and names stay encrypted • Who sent an anonymous message to an organisation FEATURES • Encrypted one-to-one and group messaging • Encrypted one-to-one voice and video calls • Photos and files, encrypted, with location data stripped automatically before sending • Statuses that disappear after 24 hours because your device destroys the key — and nobody is told who looked • A vault for private notes and documents that exists only on your device, with no copy on any server • Separate identities from one recovery phrase: a personal handle, a public creator handle, a business, and throwaway burners • Notifications that carry no sender and no preview — your lock screen never shows who contacted you • Channels, for creators broadcasting to an audience • Delete your account from inside the app, whenever you like NO ADS, NO TRACKERS No advertising. No analytics. No tracking pixels, no third-party scripts, and no fonts loaded from anyone else's server. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not have any to sell. THE HONEST BIT Privacy claims are easy to make and hard to check, so here is where Plothush stops. Handles are pseudonymous, not anonymous. A live internet connection has an IP address — we keep no record of it, but not writing something down is not the same as hiding it. Channels are the public half of Plothush and are deliberately not end-to-end encrypted: we cannot moderate what we cannot see. Private messaging is untouched by this, and no key exists that would let us read a private chat. Lose your recovery phrase and your devices, and your account is gone — not recoverable by you, and not by us. That is the trade, and we would rather say it plainly than surprise you later. The full privacy policy is at plothush.com/privacy. Every claim on it is checked automatically against the code, so it cannot quietly drift out of date.Read more
Plothush is a messenger that starts by knowing nothing about you.
No phone number. No email address. No name. Your account is a key generated on your device, and your handle comes from that key — so there is nothing to look up, nothing to sell, and nothing to hand over.
WHAT IT DOES
Messages, group chats, photos, files and calls are end-to-end encrypted.
WHAT OUR SERVERS NEVER LEARN
Most apps tell you what they protect. Plothush publishes a list of what the server genuinely never learns, and you can read it inside the app before you trust us with anything:
• Your phone number — you never gave one
• What you say — end-to-end encrypted, with forward secrecy
• Your contact list — it stays on your device
• Who is in your groups — membership and names stay encrypted
• Who sent an anonymous message to an organisation
FEATURES
• Encrypted one-to-one and group messaging
• Encrypted one-to-one voice and video calls
• Photos and files, encrypted, with location data stripped automatically before sending
• Statuses that disappear after 24 hours because your device destroys the key — and nobody is told who looked
• A vault for private notes and documents that exists only on your device, with no copy on any server
• Separate identities from one recovery phrase: a personal handle, a public creator handle, a business, and throwaway burners
• Notifications that carry no sender and no preview — your lock screen never shows who contacted you
• Channels, for creators broadcasting to an audience
• Delete your account from inside the app, whenever you like
NO ADS, NO TRACKERS
No advertising. No analytics. No tracking pixels, no third-party scripts, and no fonts loaded from anyone else's server. We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not have any to sell.
THE HONEST BIT
Privacy claims are easy to make and hard to check, so here is where Plothush stops.
Every claim on it is checked automatically against the code, so it cannot quietly drift out of date.
