About

BenchWork builds a study plan around your games, your practices and your travel. Upload a course syllabus as a PDF and BenchWork pulls out every graded item it can find, exams, quizzes, homework, projects, papers, presentations and labs, with the due date attached, for you to confirm before anything is saved. Paste or photograph your team and class schedule and it sorts the items into academic classes and everything else, practices, lifts, conditioning, games, film review and team meetings. From those two imports it writes a day-by-day plan with rules a student-athlete actually needs. No heavy study blocks on game days or travel days. Practice days capped and split into shorter blocks. A review-only buffer day before exams and major assignments. Work ordered by what is due soonest. Anything that will not fit is flagged with the reason instead of being quietly dropped. Today shows the day in front of you and where it is likely to go wrong. Each risk names the specific collision, an exam Thursday when you travel Wednesday, and proposes a concrete next step you can act on in one tap. Calendar holds classes, practices, games, travel and exam dates in one view. Grades tracks your courses, credits and grades, and keeps a credit-weighted GPA in front of you rather than in a spreadsheet. Eligibility runs the Division I and Division II cumulative-GPA and progress-toward-degree checks and shows each one as pass, warning, fail or needs information, with the requirement, your current figure and the source it comes from. It tells you plainly when it is using your own school or scholarship minimum instead of a national standard, and it does not invent thresholds for divisions and associations that publish none. This is an estimate built from the grades and credits you enter. Your registrar and compliance office are the only authority on your eligibility, so check with them before acting on anything here. Classes keeps your course list, meeting times and credits. Notes keeps your own notes per course. Email drafts write a first version of the message to a professor, coach or advisor from the context you type, in the tone you pick, for you to read, edit and send yourself. Canvas connects with an access token you generate in your own Canvas account and pulls your active courses and upcoming assignments in. Re-syncing updates items in place instead of duplicating them, and the token is used for that one sync and is not stored. Face ID signs you in without typing your password. Notifications are deliberately rare: you get one only when a genuine high-severity conflict appears, and never the same one twice. New accounts get a 14-day trial with full access and no card. When a trial or subscription ends the app becomes read-only rather than locking you out, so your schedule, classes, grades and eligibility status stay visible, and adding and editing resume with a subscription. Plans, imports and email drafts are generated with AI. Treat them as a first draft and check them before you rely on them.
