About
PIMS — Pilotage Information and Management Systems — is a professional record-keeping tool for marine pilots. Built by a working pilot for working pilots, PIMS lets you record every pilotage, track your rest and swing cycles for fatigue compliance, and share reference documents with your team. KEY FEATURES • PILOTAGE RECORDS — Log every job with vessel details, dates, positions, and attached documents (receipts, MPX forms, ship photos). Records stay on your device and sync automatically when online. • MY ROSTER — See your annual roster at a glance with a visual planning chart. Track rostered days, callouts, leave, and paid-out days against your contracted schedule. • FATIGUE COMPLIANCE — Automated tracking of rest periods, swing cycles, and consecutive-day limits against fatigue-management standards. Get warnings before you're at risk of non-compliance. • SWINGS — Manage your tour cycles with start/end dates, rest days calculated automatically, and clear tables of every swing you've done. • SHIP LIBRARY — Store particulars for every ship you've piloted with photos, IMO, dimensions, and quick lookup on Equasis and VesselFinder. • REFERENCE DOCUMENTS — Marine Orders, checklists, and reference PDFs available offline whenever you need them. • CONTACTS — Captains, agents, and colleagues in one address book, kept in sync across your team. • OFFLINE-FIRST — Every feature works offline. Sync happens automatically when you're online, so you're never stuck at sea without your records. PIMS is also available on Mac and Windows as companion desktop apps distributed directly by the developer (contact pims@maesepp.com.au). Data syncs automatically between iPad and desktop devices. PIMS is a professional tool, not a public social platform. All pilot-facing content is private to signed-in pilots. There are no in-app purchases, no advertising, and no third-party analytics.Read more
