BoeeenCheck – Wind and Gusts for Ultralight Pilots BoeeenCheck helps you assess wind conditions before your flight. Search for an airport and select a runway to calculate crosswind, crosswind gusts, headwind and headwind gusts. The most suitable runway can now be selected automatically based on the current wind direction. Frequently used airports can be saved as favorites for quick access. In addition, wind direction, wind speed and gusts from the ICON-D2-RUC forecast can be displayed hourly. This allows you to quickly assess the expected wind development at the airport. Current METAR weather data is displayed together with the TAF forecast where available. The TAF is provided for information only and does not affect the calculations. The app uses current weather data as well as airport and runway data.
