About
XEXTANT is a simple navigation app that guides you using just two things: direction and distance. Unlike conventional navigation apps, XEXTANT doesn't tell you where to turn or which route to follow. It simply shows you which direction your destination is and how far away it is. The rest is up to you. Choose your own way. HOME Save your home location and XEXTANT will always show you the direction and distance back home. DESTINATION Set a place you want to go, and XEXTANT shows its direction and straight-line distance. Take whichever streets you like, make a detour, and find your own way there. EXPLORE XEXTANT remembers where you started exploring and keeps showing you the direction and distance back to that point. Wander down unfamiliar streets while always knowing which way leads back. JOURNEY Keep track of your time and distance while you're on the move. With Live Activities, you can also check your journey from the Lock Screen. THEMES Choose from three compass themes — STANDARD, ROSE MINT, and CAT — and change the look to match your mood. XEXTANT isn't designed to find the fastest route. Choose your destination. Choose your own way there. Get lost without losing your way. That's XEXTANT.Read more

Improved Return Support XEXTANT can now monitor the distance and estimated return time to your starting point while you explore, and let you know when it may be time to head back based on your planned return time. The compass continues to point north as usual. XEXTANT keeps track of your return timing even before you choose “Return to Start.” This feature also works without a mobile data connection. We’ve also improved the wording for shared locations and made starting a journey to your destination more intuitive.
