About

Eryvia Klx is a precision thermal insulation tool for anyone who layers in the cold. Whether you hike, ski, tour, commute, or ice fish through winter, it calculates exactly how much clothing insulation you need — in measurable clo units from ISO 9920 thermal-comfort standards — then helps you build a real clothing stack that meets that number. Enter your conditions: temperature, wind speed, humidity, wet or dry clothing, sun exposure, and activity level. The thermal solver applies the Havenith wind-insulation penalty formula and fabric-specific wet-state corrections to output your required clo, broken down by body zone — core, head, hands, and feet. The Layer Studio arranges your garments as concentric insulation rings; a dashed target ring marks the threshold your stack must reach. Wind arrows visibly erode the outer ring in real time, and an integrated sweat meter warns you before you overheat. Build your Gear Closet by photographing each garment — the photo becomes a drag card in the studio. Tag items with role, fabric, warmth, and weight; the app seeds clo values from a 40-entry ISO 9920 preset table, always adjustable. A Fabric Reference Library covers 14 material types with measured warmth-to-weight, wet retention, breathability, and wind permeability. The Wind Chill and Frostbite Lab shows bare-skin exposure time across five risk bands using the NWS formula. Plan multi-block outings with the Shed Schedule, save Kit Presets for your regular routes, and log comfort verdicts after each outing. After a handful of outings, Eryvia Klx derives your personal clo offset per zone and folds it into every future calculation — the longer you use it, the more it learns your body. Eight interactive lessons on conduction, convection, vapor barriers, and more complete a fully offline, no-account tool that keeps all your data on your device.Read more
