Worso: Learn Words From Books

Read anything in a foreign language and actually remember the words. Take a photo of a page — a novel, a textbook, a news article, a restaurant menu. Worso reads the text right on your iPhone, counts every word and shows you which ones matter most on that page. Tap a word and get a rich AI card: translation, meaning, real example sentences and how natives actually use it. Then learn them with spaced repetition until they stick. WHY WORSO IS DIFFERENT • You learn the words from what YOU read, not from someone else's list • Words are sorted by how often they appear on the page, so the useful ones come first • Each card explains tone and usage: formal or slang, spoken or bookish, British or American • Verb forms and plurals are merged into one entry, so you never learn the same word twice • Photos never leave your phone: text recognition runs fully on device WHAT'S INSIDE • Scan pages in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Slovak, Ukrainian and Russian • Translations into 8 languages, interface in 7 • Frequency chart for every page: see the vocabulary of a text before you read it • AI word cards with examples, usage notes and pronunciation • Spaced repetition trainer with daily progress and streaks • Personal dictionary that grows with every scan, with search and status filters • History of every scanned page, so you can come back to a book weeks later • Backup to iCloud Drive and restore on a new phone HOW IT WORKS 1. Photograph a page or pick a photo from your library 2. Worso extracts the words and lays them out by frequency 3. Mark what you already know, open cards for the rest 4. Review in short daily sessions — Worso schedules the repeats for you FREE AND PREMIUM Worso is free to use with a daily allowance of page scans and AI word cards. Premium removes both daily limits and unlocks card regeneration and the usage-by-year chart. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, with a free week for new subscribers.
