SilentBox

SilentBox is a private vault for your photos, videos, scans and documents. Everything is encrypted on your iPhone or iPad before it is saved, with a key that only you hold. NO ACCOUNT, NOTHING TO SIGN UP FOR Create a vault with a password and you are in. SilentBox shows you a 12-word recovery phrase once: it is the way back in if the password is ever lost. Nobody else can recover your vault, and that is the point. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE - Add photos and videos from your library, take them straight into the vault with the camera, or save them from any app through the share sheet. - Scan documents with the camera. Text in scans is recognized on the device, so you can search your passport or a contract by what it says. - Keep things in albums, set an album cover, sort by date or name. - Mark documents such as ID cards, passports and insurance with their expiry date, and see what is about to run out. UNLOCKS THE WAY YOU DO Face ID or a PIN for this device, with your password always working as well. Lock individual albums so they ask again before they open. Turn on two-step unlock and the vault also asks for your PIN after Face ID or your password — someone who holds your phone up to your face, or has seen your password, still can't open it on this device. PRIVATE WHEN SOMEONE IS LOOKING - The vault locks when you leave the app, and when you put the phone face down. - Block screenshots and screen recordings of the vault. - Stay unlocked while you read: the front camera checks every few seconds that someone is in front of the screen. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere. - The app switcher never shows what was on the screen. SYNC THAT STAYS YOURS iCloud sync is off until you turn it on. When it is on, only encrypted data goes into your own private iCloud database. There is no server of ours, no analytics and no tracking. Choose whether the whole vault syncs or only the albums you pick. Videos download from iCloud only when you open them. A WAY OUT, NOT ONLY IN Export items as ordinary files at any time, or back up the whole vault into an encrypted archive with its own password and restore it on any device. Deleted items wait in the trash for 30 days. FREE FOR 14 DAYS, THEN ONE PAYMENT The free 14-day trial starts only when you choose to start it, and it never turns into a payment on its own. After that, a single purchase keeps adding to your vault on all your devices — no subscription. Locked albums, screen capture blocking, face-down lock, two-step unlock and the encrypted archive come with the purchase and aren't part of the trial. If you do not buy, nothing is held back: your vault still opens, and you can view, search and export everything in it.
