About

Journey Patient Care is a record book for anyone taking care of someone. JPC was built for the most important person in my life. My father was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease. My wife and I took over his care. What we learned quickly is that care giving is mostly memory work. Which medication changed and when. What the neurologist said in March. Which pharmacy has the prior authorization. What his blood sugar was the morning he seemed confused. It lives in your head until it doesn't, and then you are standing in an emergency room being asked questions you cannot answer. JPC is where that goes instead. What You Can Keep In It: Medications, with real schedules. Daily, specific days of the week, every other day, a set day each month, or on and off cycles like three weeks on and one week off. Log doses as you give them. Appointments and medication times, with reminders. Set a reminder for a dose, an appointment, or a task, and JPC notifies you when it is due, so the easy-to-forget things are not left to memory. Symptoms and pain, marked directly on a body map rather than described from memory. Vitals and blood sugar readings, charted over time so a pattern is visible instead of buried in notes. Appointments, ER visits, and phone calls, with a summary you can hand to a primary care doctor. Insurance and identification cards, captured with the camera and kept with the rest of the record. Documents, contacts, and care notes, all in one place. A calendar view that pulls every one of those together by day. How Your Information Is Handled: JPC has no account, no sign in, and no server. Nothing you enter is uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to go. It was built with your security in mind. Everything is encrypted on your own device, with the key held in your phone's secure hardware and protected by Face ID or your device passcode. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. That means we cannot read your records, cannot recover them for you, and cannot hand them to anyone else. That is hard coded, and it is deliberate. Since your records live only on your phone, JPC can export an encrypted backup file sealed with a passphrase you choose. You decide where that file goes. It will restore onto a new phone, which matters when a screen cracks or a device is replaced. Family A separate family view, behind its own passcode, lets you show a sibling or another caregiver what they need to see without handing over everything. A Note On What This Is: JPC is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, it does not give medical advice, and it is not a substitute for talking to a doctor. It is the notebook you would have kept anyway, with the parts that are easy to lose track of taken care of for you. Privacy policy: https://terravidafl.net/jpc-privacyRead more
