Skolefinder: Danish schools

For parents choosing a school in Denmark. Skolefinder gathers the ministry's figures for every primary and lower-secondary school in the country – more than 1,900 folkeskoler, private schools and municipal international schools – and puts them side by side, so you can compare the schools in your kommune yourself. Grades, wellbeing, absence, pupil numbers and applications, school year by school year. No overall score and no verdict: you draw the conclusion. WHAT YOU CAN SEE FOR EVERY SCHOOL • Grades – averages for the compulsory 9th-grade exams, subject by subject, with the kommune and national averages beside them • Wellbeing – the national wellbeing survey, indicator by indicator • Absence – illness, excused and unexcused absence • Students and parents – pupil numbers, class size, pupils' background and parents' level of education • Employees – staff by category • Competence coverage – the share of lessons taught by teachers qualified in the subject • Applications – where pupils in 9th and 10th grade apply after leaving school • Trends across every published school year, with the Covid years marked FIND AND COMPARE • Map and list of the schools in your kommune – sort by distance, name or grade average • Filter by school type and switch school year with one tap • Compare up to ten schools side by side, figure by figure • Save favourites and find them again under My profile THE PRINTOUT Every school has a printout: every published school year in one place, with source, date and every missing figure named – what is missing, and why. The printout is free to read in the app. SKOLEFINDER PLUS Everything you can read in the app is free – every school, every figure, every chart, every school year. Skolefinder Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and unlocks the app's paid features: today, sending the printout as a PDF file, dated and paginated, for every school and every published school year, as many times as you like. You are supporting the app – not buying the figures. THE FIGURES All data comes from Uddannelsesstatistik.dk, the Danish Ministry of Children and Education's statistics portal, and is always shown with the school year, kommune and definition it belongs to. Where the ministry publishes no figure – because the group is too small, or the year is not yet compiled – Skolefinder shows a blank and says why. Never a guess. PRIVACY Skolefinder needs no account and does not track you. No ads, no analytics on your use. Your location is used only – with your permission – to find your kommune, and it is not stored. FOR EVERYONE Full VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support, light and dark appearance, and colours that never carry meaning alone. The app is available in Danish and English. Questions or errors?
