About
漢ドリ (Kanji Drill) turns a handful of kanji into a print-ready Japanese practice worksheet — no dictionary lookups, no typing out readings, no writing your own test sentences. How it works Type up to 10 kanji. For each one, the readings (kun'yomi and on'yomi), example vocabulary, and fill-in-the-blank test sentences are generated automatically. Review them, fix a typo or drop a sentence you don't want, then generate the worksheet. Tracing page Every kanji gets a large reference character plus five practice boxes, laid out in traditional vertical (tategaki) typesetting. The reference character is drawn from KanjiVG stroke data rather than a display font, so tome, hane, and harai appear the way they're actually taught — not smoothed over by a typeface. Kanji test Fill-in-the-blank sentences test each kanji in context, with the target reading shown as furigana above an empty box. Turn on shuffle so the same kanji doesn't always land in the same spot. Stroke order practice Play back the stroke order for any kanji you've added, one stroke at a time, with numbered strokes and adjustable speed. Tap to advance at your own pace. Accurate readings Kun'yomi and on'yomi come from a bundled dictionary covering all 2,136 jōyō kanji, so the readings on the worksheet are correct — not approximated. Worksheet history Every worksheet you generate is saved, so you can reopen and reprint any past worksheet at any time — no need to recreate it from scratch. Features - Up to 10 kanji per worksheet - Kun'yomi/on'yomi readings, example vocabulary, and test sentences generated automatically - Dictionary-backed readings for all 2,136 jōyō kanji - Traditional vertical (tategaki) typesetting throughout - Tracing page with 5 practice boxes per character, using real stroke-order data - Fill-in-the-blank kanji test with furigana hints and optional shuffle - Stroke-order playback with numbered strokes and speed control - Worksheet history — reopen and reprint anytime - Print directly, or share the worksheet as a PDF - Three visual themes: white, sepia, and darkRead more
