Le Petit Badger

Le Petit Badger is a little navigation and tracking companion for trail races. We built it for our own PTL journey with Team Adaptive. Now it’s growing to other races, starting with Otter. FOR THE PERSON ON THE ROUTE Choose a race, see your position, check what’s next and keep its roadbook close. Download maps before you head out. Your saved progress, route notes and map downloads stay with the race you select. FOR THE PEOPLE FOLLOWING ALONG Browse the route and see the most recently shared positions of athletes in that race. No account is needed to follow. Invited athletes can sign in with Apple and choose when to share their own position. Updates need connectivity and arrive periodically, not continuously; the last-shared time tells you how recent a position is. PTL AND OTTER PTL 2026 includes route navigation, refuges, equipment notes and alternative routes. Otter 2026 includes Race and Challenge on the Retto course, with separate progress and athlete lists, landmarks, a race guide and pace targets. The Otter GPX is a reference track, not a verified exact 2026 course. Pace targets are not checkpoint cutoffs. A COMPANION, NOT THE RACE AUTHORITY Le Petit Badger is independent of the race organisers. Always follow their current instructions, official route and safety guidance. Download and check your maps before leaving reception. Location sharing is not an emergency or rescue service. The app currently uses bundled race routes. Importing your own GPX is not yet supported. iOS 26 or later is required.
