About
A cabinet project has two audiences: the people who build it and the customer who approves it. Cabinet Job Pack keeps both documents tied to one revision of the same frameless base-cabinet project. 1. Define the job Enter customer and workshop details, finished cabinet dimensions, materials, sheet sizes, grain, rotation, trim, saw kerf, edge banding, hardware, labor, and quote inputs. Dimensions can be entered in millimeters, decimal inches, or common inch fractions. 2. Apply one named construction rule Version 1 implements Frameless Base Cabinet v1.0: full-height sides; top and bottom between the sides; an inset back; an independent toe-kick rail; adjustable shelves; and zero, one, or two full-overlay doors. Generated parts retain their cabinet, material, thickness, grain, rotation, and four-edge requirements. Invalid geometry or a part that cannot fit is reported before export. 3. Prepare material and cutting information Group parts by material and thickness. Review sheet quantities, used and remaining area, utilization, waste, and suggested layouts that respect trim, kerf, grain, and rotation. A suggested layout is a practical starting point, not a claim of global optimization. 4. Issue the right document The workshop job pack can include the construction assumptions, cabinets, parts, purchasing, edge banding, hardware, layouts, labels, and internal cost information. The separately generated customer quotation excludes purchase prices, labor details, markup, profit, utilization, waste, and internal notes. Part data can also be exported as CSV, with labels prepared for A4 or US Letter paper. Projects and exports are created on the device. No account is needed for the core workflow. A bundled example project lets you examine the supported rule before entering a live job. This release is intentionally narrow. It does not design rooms or support drawers, wall, tall, corner, or face-frame cabinets, wardrobes, 3D/CAD, CNC, or claims of globally optimal nesting. Verify dimensions, board thickness, construction method, clearances, kerf, grain, hardware, and the current project revision before purchasing or cutting.Read more
A cabinet project has two audiences: the people who build it and the customer who approves it. Cabinet Job Pack keeps both documents tied to one revision of the same frameless base-cabinet project.
1. Define the job
Enter customer and workshop details, finished cabinet dimensions, materials, sheet sizes, grain, rotation, trim, saw kerf, edge banding, hardware, labor, and quote inputs. Dimensions can be entered in millimeters, decimal inches, or common inch fractions.
2. Apply one named construction rule
Version 1 implements Frameless Base Cabinet v1.0: full-height sides; top and bottom between the sides; an inset back; an independent toe-kick rail; adjustable shelves; and zero, one, or two full-overlay doors. Generated parts retain their cabinet, material, thickness, grain, rotation, and four-edge requirements. Invalid geometry or a part that cannot fit is reported before export.
3. Prepare material and cutting information
Group parts by material and thickness. Review sheet quantities, used and remaining area, utilization, waste, and suggested layouts that respect trim, kerf, grain, and rotation. A suggested layout is a practical starting point, not a claim of global optimization.
4. Issue the right document
The workshop job pack can include the construction assumptions, cabinets, parts, purchasing, edge banding, hardware, layouts, labels, and internal cost information. The separately generated customer quotation excludes purchase prices, labor details, markup, profit, utilization, waste, and internal notes. Part data can also be exported as CSV, with labels prepared for A4 or US Letter paper.
