IEMS — the Integrated Education Management System — puts your whole school in one app. Sign in with the school code your school gives you, and IEMS shows you the part of school life that is yours. The app knows whether you are a parent, a teacher, a learner or a school leader, and opens on what matters to you. FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS - Every child on one screen: today's attendance, what is outstanding on fees, wallet balance - Fee statements and payment history, so there are no surprises at the end of term - School notices and messages from your child's teachers and the school office - More than one child, or children at more than one school? One sign-in covers all of them FOR TEACHERS - Take the daily register in seconds, on the phone in your hand - The register works with no signal at all. Mark it in the classroom, and it syncs itself when you are back on the network - Today's timetable, your classes and your learners - Capture marks and message parents and colleagues FOR LEARNERS - Today's timetable and what is due - Recent marks and assignments - Lesson materials and the school library FOR PRINCIPALS AND SCHOOL LEADERS - Attendance, fee collection and staff on leave at a glance - Approvals waiting on you, wherever you are - Announcements to every parent or every member of staff at once SCHOOL GROUPS THAT LOOK AFTER THEMSELVES Your class group and your staff group live in the app, and the school runs them. Who is in a group follows the register: a new parent is in it from the day their child starts, and a family who has left stops seeing it. Nobody has to keep a list up to date, and no parent's phone number is shown to any other parent. Every message can be reported, and the school can remove a message or a member. MEDICAL INFORMATION HELD BY THE SCHOOL Schools already hold a learner's allergies, dietary requirements and emergency contact. The app shows those to that learner's own teachers, so the teacher on a trip or at a fixture is not the one person without them. A guardian can choose to share more — conditions and medication on file — and can withdraw it at any time from the app. This is a school record, not a health service: no advice, no diagnosis, no first-aid instruction, no medication reminders, and nothing clinical can be entered or changed here. BUILT FOR THE SCHOOLS THAT USE IT IEMS is built for African schools and the networks they really have. The teacher register works offline. Screens are kept light so they load on a slow connection. On iPad, IEMS uses the extra space properly instead of stretching the iPhone layout. Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa are each set up on their own terms: their own curriculum structure, their own school year or session, their own currency. TEACHING AT ONE SCHOOL AND PARENTING AT ANOTHER Switch between schools without signing out. Each school keeps its own colours, its own data and its own sign-in. YOUR SCHOOL'S DATA STAYS YOUR SCHOOL'S You see only what your role at your school allows, and nothing from any other school. Lock the app behind Face ID or Touch ID so a borrowed or mislaid phone gives nothing away. YOU NEED AN ACCOUNT FROM YOUR SCHOOL IEMS is supplied to schools, so you cannot sign yourself up here. Your school gives you a school code and a login. If your school does not use IEMS yet, point them to iems.africa and we will talk to them. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO YET Fees and wallet balances are shown here, not paid here. Pay by EFT or at the school office, or top up a wallet on your school's IEMS web portal.
