Soundscape Reverie

Soundscape Reverie is a personal journal of urban sounds for those who notice the atmosphere of streets, neighborhoods, and everyday routes not only with their eyes but also with their ears. The sound of a tram turning, the hum of an evening avenue, the clink of dishes from an open cafe, rain at a bus stop, music from a nearby window, or a rare moment of urban silence—such sounds often become part of our memories of a place. Soundscape Reverie helps preserve them along with their context and personal associations. Create a separate entry for each sound observation, specify the location, and add a description of what you heard. Supplement the entry with your own thoughts, emotions, or memories evoked by the sound. With Soundscape Reverie, it's easy to: • capture interesting urban sounds; • save the location of an observation; • add a description of the soundscape; • record personal associations; • note the mood of the moment; • revisit previous observations; • collect a sound history of walks; • create your own urban archive. The same neighborhood can sound completely different in the morning, evening, or after rain. Recordings help you notice details and preserve impressions that are difficult to convey with a regular photograph. The app can be used as a unique walking diary. Instead of a standard description of a day, record the sounds that made it memorable: the horn of an old tram, a street musician, the rustling of trees between houses, or the hum of a busy square. Personal associations make each entry unique. One sound might remind you of a trip, another of childhood, a particular person, or a specific period in your life. Even a few words help preserve this context. Soundscape Reverie is suitable for lovers of city walks, observations, travel, and everyday photography, as well as anyone interested in more attentively perceiving the environment. Over time, the journal turns into a collection of sound memories of familiar and new places. You can return to old entries and recall not only where you were but also the atmosphere that filled that moment. All data is stored locally on the device. The archive remains accessible without a constant internet connection. Save the sounds of the city, places, and associations to create your own chronicle of streets, routes, and memorable moments.
