About
IncidentPilot is an offline-first operations platform for the people who run incidents, missions, nets, and public-service events: amateur radio emergency communications groups, Civil Air Patrol squadrons, emergency operations centers, CERT, search and rescue, disaster-relief NGOs, and event teams. It runs on iPhone and iPad, and the core of it works with no Internet connection at all, because that is usually when it matters. BUILT ON THE INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM • An incident organization chart, with positions you staff as the incident grows • Operational periods, objectives, and a planning cycle you actually work through • Check-in and demobilization, assignments, teams, locations, and typed resources • Resource requests through their whole life, from ordered to released • Safety analysis, a medical plan, situation reports, and EOC activation levels • Qualification records, so you can see who is current before you assign them THE PAPERWORK WRITES ITSELF • The activity log fills in as you work, so the ICS-214 is there when the after-action review asks for it • Prints the standard ICS form set as PDFs, including the 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 211, 213, 214, 215, and 309 • Assembles an Incident Action Plan from the plan you built, not from free text • Exports a whole incident as one portable file for your records A DESK YOU CAN LEAVE RUNNING On an iPad, the operations console is a position you can sit at all day: Net Control, Mission Base, Watch Desk, or Command Post, named for your organization and arranged the way your desk actually works. Check people in, make assignments, and log traffic from one screen. IT SPEAKS YOUR ORGANIZATION'S LANGUAGE Pick your organization type and the app adapts its vocabulary, its modules, and its defaults. A ham club gets activations, operators, nets, and a Net Control console. A squadron gets a Mission Base console, sorties, aircrew, and ground teams. You can turn on your organization's own vocabulary or stay with standard ICS terms, and you can keep more than one organization on a device and switch between them. WEATHER AND MAPPING • National Weather Service forecasts and active alerts for your incident locations • NEXRAD radar on the incident map • US National Grid coordinates • Aviation weather, including METARs, TAFs, and pilot reports FOR CIVIL AIR PATROL UNITS Mission authority and specialties, aircrew and sorties, aircraft weight and balance, aviation weather, ground teams with readiness checks and clue logs, and sUAS with battery logs and pre-flight checklists. The app tells you which CAP forms a mission calls for, which edition, and where they are filed. It does not fill them out, and it never connects to eServices or WMIRS. YOUR DATA IS YOURS • Everything is written to your device first and works with no service • Turn on Device Sync and a copy goes to your own private iCloud, which nobody else can read, including us • No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking • An optional app lock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode • Help is built in and works offline THIS VERSION IS COMPLETELY FREE No purchase, no subscription, and nothing held back. A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING • The message center is a record of traffic your operators handled by radio, phone, or runner. It does not transmit anything over the air or the Internet. • Weather is here for situational awareness. It is not an alerting system, so please keep relying on official National Weather Service warnings and your agency's alerting. • IncidentPilot does not replace any official dispatch, mission-reporting, qualification, or records system. Your organization's own records remain the authority. • IncidentPilot is an independent application. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FEMA, the ARRL, ARES, RACES, Civil Air Patrol, or any government agency. Questions, or something that fought you in the field?
