About
R/T is easy when you know what’s coming. Real flying isn’t like that. Say Again+ is designed to bridge the gap between learning standard phraseology and actually using it on the flight deck. Instead of practising isolated radio calls, you fly the R/T for complete, realistic IFR routes — listening to ATC, understanding the clearance or instruction, and making the correct response as the flight develops. From delivery and ground through departure, en-route, arrival and approach, the conversation moves with the flight. TRAINING Learn and practise the complete R/T sequence at your own pace. Hear realistic ATC transmissions, see the expected call and practise your response. Repeat individual calls whenever you want before moving on. FIRST FLIGHT Now take away the prompts. Fly the same R/T sequence and respond to ATC yourself. Choose your level: • Level 1 — ATC audio supported by a transcript • Level 2 — audio only. Listen, retain and respond. Your transmissions are analysed against the expected phraseology and, at the end of the flight, you receive a detailed debrief showing what you got right, what you missed and where you can improve. READABILITY 3 Because real radios aren’t always clear. Take the exercise again with degraded ATC communications — including static and dropped syllables — and adjust the difficulty as you fly. Can you extract the important information and respond correctly when the transmission isn’t perfect? REAL ROUTES. REAL R/T. REAL CONTEXT. Practise across three IFR scenarios: • London Heathrow → Geneva • Palma → London Gatwick • Mykonos → Milan Linate Say Again+ is built around internationally recognised ICAO phraseology and UK CAA CAP 413, while reflecting the operational differences pilots encounter across European flying. It isn’t about memorising more phrases. It’s about becoming better at hearing, understanding and responding to R/T in context. Fly the radio calls before you fly the legRead more
