Golden Flower: Inner Light

A Chinese-language illustrated companion to the Taiyi Jinhua Zongzhi, often known internationally as The Secret of the Golden Flower. LANGUAGE: This edition offers Simplified and Traditional Chinese interfaces and reading content, with Mandarin AI-generated narration. It does not include English reading content or English audio. UNDERSTAND THROUGH PICTURES Explore thirteen chapter-specific illustrated guides. Concepts such as original spirit, discerning consciousness, and returning light are introduced through stories and visual metaphors, with explanations of their relationship to the text. A separate comics-only collection is available in the reading room. READ THREE LAYERS TOGETHER Read the classical Chinese, its plain-language rendering, and modern commentary in a continuous passage-by-passage layout. The commentary called “Lüzu Explains” is a modern editorial interpretation using Lü Dongbin as a literary narrator, not a historical quotation. You can hide either explanatory layer while keeping the original visible. LISTEN TO THE LAYER YOU CHOOSE Each original passage, plain-language rendering, and modern explanation has its own audio button. Play a whole chapter in sequence, only its plain-language layer, or only its modern commentary. Adjust playback speed directly. Audio is included for offline listening. A READER MADE FOR CHINESE TEXT Distinct type styles, adjustable text size and spacing, a night-reading theme, bookmarks, and on-device reading progress support unhurried reading on iPhone and iPad. Text, illustrations, comics, and narration work offline. AN OPTIONAL QUIET PAUSE The reading room includes one optional session: a spoken introduction followed by three quiet minutes and a closing chime. Pause or leave at any time. There are no scores, streak requirements, or claims of spiritual attainment. No account, ads, or third-party analytics or tracking. All classical learning content is free. Three optional, repeatable, one-time Apple In-App Purchases are tips for the project, not subscriptions. They unlock no additional content or features. The team letter and both covers are free to every reader. No tip is required. Each Apple-verified tip is recorded separately on this device; tip history may not survive deleting the app or changing devices. Apple handles prices and payment. For classical-text study and personal reflection, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Not affiliated with C. G. Jung, his estate, or a religious lineage; no promises of health, financial, or spiritual outcomes.
