About

You came in through one of 139 gates. After tawaf, they all look the same. Bab Amanah remembers your gate and walks you back to it — fully offline, no signal needed. Point the camera at the gate sign to save it, or pick it from a list sorted by where you stand. A dial of the mosque's actual gates shows your gate, you, and which way around to walk: "264 m - 21 gates along, clockwise." This is not a generic map or lost-and-found board. Bab Amanah ships with a Haramain gate dataset for Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi, groups multiple signed gate numbers that share one physical doorway, and chooses the shorter walking direction by mosque geometry instead of gate-number order. LOST SOMETHING? FOUND SOMETHING? Shoes get moved. Bags get left. Bab Amanah's found-items feed is tied to the gates themselves: photograph a found item and it appears for its owner, tagged to the gate where it waits. Photos are checked on your phone before posting — objects only, never people. PRO — ONE PRICE, FOREVER ($4.99) - Saved gates and reminders — keep multiple gates and switch between them - Post lost items and get alerted the moment something matching turns up - The Lost Card — a full-screen card in five languages any volunteer can read THE PILGRIM'S CALENDAR Today on the official Umm al-Qura reckoning, with live countdowns to Ramadan and the five days of Hajj. Arabic-first, with English, Urdu, Indonesian, and Turkish. Built for the Haramain: dark, glare-friendly, and honest about what it knows. Gate data (c) OpenStreetMap contributors.Read more
