About
Reserve Time is a private, on-device stopwatch and personal worksheet helper for tracking off-drill work. Start, pause, resume, and stop one timer while Reserve Time keeps a local Session log of completed sessions. Elapsed time is derived from saved timestamps, so the timer remains accurate when the app backgrounds or is relaunched. Select one or more sessions and export them as a NAVMC 799 worksheet, Excel workbook, or plain-text report. NAVMC 799 alone shows display-only progress toward a two-hour block, totals every selected duration, and prefills its editable equivalent-instruction description from the selected session descriptions. After Share and Done, exactly those selected sessions move into the read-only Archived section of Session log. Prepare a profile-prefilled DD 2946 worksheet without attaching or archiving session timing. History keeps a local record of successful export handoffs with the date, time-zone context, format, aggregate duration, correct selected-session count, and timing references when applicable. DD 2946 events contain no session timing. You can add a device-local Approved or Not approved marker for personal tracking. These markers are not command verification or proof of credit. Save optional form-specific details to prefill the next NAVMC 799 or DD 2946 export. Reserve Time does not accept Social Security numbers. Signatures, certifications, approvals, NAVMC description and authority, and DD agreement dates are never saved in the reusable profile. Optional widgets show local timer state and a completed-session count on supported Home Screen and Lock Screen sizes. A Live Activity keeps the running or paused timer available on the Lock Screen and, on supported iPhones, in compact, minimal, and expanded Dynamic Island presentations. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, backend, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or tracking. • Timer, session, History, profile, and form data stays in the app's private on-device storage. • Session times retain the system time-zone identifier observed at Start and Stop without requesting Location Services or storing coordinates. You can display clock times in 12- or 24-hour format. • A private App Group shares only reduced timer display state and one combined completed-session count with widgets and Live Activities. It never receives session descriptions, profile or form fields, History, identifiers, or exported files. • Files leave Reserve Time only when you choose an export or sharing destination. The selected destination, viewer, sync service, or backup provider controls exported copies. • Clear Sessions removes completed sessions but keeps History. Erase Local Data removes Reserve Time data stored on that device; neither action can remove copies already exported. Reserve Time produces unofficial personal worksheets only. It is not an official record and establishes no duty credit, entitlement, or unit certification. The bundled DD draft uses obsolete DD FORM 2946, DEC 2011 artwork. It is clearly labeled as a legacy-source draft and is not the current official DD FORM 2946, AUG 2021 form.Read more
