Sidekik: Event Help

Sidekik is an adults-only local marketplace for event hosts and people who help at events. Use one account to host, help, or do both. HOST AN EVENT Create an event, add its date and approximate public area, and break the work into individual roles. Each role has its own schedule, responsibilities, openings, and compensation. Review applicants separately and send an official offer for a specific opening. FIND EVENT WORK Browse nearby public events, search by event, role, category, or neighborhood, and save opportunities for later. Apply to the role that fits you with a message, availability confirmation, relevant experience, and optional work photos. AGREE ON THE DETAILS Conversations begin after an application, keeping messages connected to a specific event role. A host can send or revise one official offer. When an offer is accepted, Sidekik records the agreed terms and reveals the exact event address to the hired helper. ONE ACCOUNT, BOTH SIDES Activity keeps hosting and helping in one place. Manage event drafts and applicants, track applications and offers, and view upcoming bookings without switching account types. BUILT-IN MARKETPLACE CONTROLS Profiles, event listings, applications, photos, messages, and reviews are user-generated content. Sidekik includes content moderation, reporting, blocking, Community Guidelines, support requests, and in-app account deletion. Exact event addresses stay private until a helper is hired. IMPORTANT Sidekik is for people age 18 and older. Age is self-attested and is not identity verification. Sidekik does not perform background checks or guarantee hosts or helpers. Safety-sensitive and prohibited roles are not supported. Sidekik records agreed compensation but does not process payments. Hosts and helpers arrange payment directly with each other outside Sidekik.
