About
Trip Track is Rayzon Solar’s official travel and kilometer log for field employees. Create trips, punch departure and arrival on site, record live GPS distance, and keep every journey auditable — even when the network drops. Built for people who move between offices, clients, and sites all day. Open a trip, start departure when you leave, follow your live route on the map, mark arrival at the client, then complete meetings and return legs in one guided flow. Kilometers come from real GPS, not guesswork. WHO IT’S FOR • Field executives and engineers logging official travel • Managers reviewing live trips and completed journeys • Admins overseeing users, requests, fuel rates, and reports HOW A TRIP WORKS Create a travel request with from/to locations, client, vehicle, and fuel type. Pick places on the map so origin and destination are accurate. Start Departure at the origin. Live tracking begins. Watch your route update in real time on the trip map. Mark Arrival at the destination, then start or end a meeting if needed. Add the next client or start the return trip. Finish the journey. Distance, duration, and route stay on the record. LIVE GPS TRACKING The app records the path while you travel so distance is based on the actual route. The map shows your current location and traveled trail. Tracking continues through travel legs and can resume after you leave the app, lose signal, or reopen the trip. Works offline: GPS points are saved on the device and sync automatically when internet returns. You can still punch and see the live path without a connection. Map tiles may need network; your route line and location marker do not. ACCURATE KILOMETERS • GPS-based distance instead of straight-line estimates • Multi-stop trips with a separate leg for each client • Return trip support so homeward travel is counted correctly • Vehicle and fuel type (car or bike; petrol, diesel, CNG, or electric) for allowance and reporting PUNCH WITH CONFIDENCE Departure and arrival are location-aware. Start Departure is expected near the origin; Mark Arrival is expected near the destination. That keeps records honest and reduces punches from the wrong place. OFFLINE-FIRST Field work often means weak coverage. Trip Track is designed to keep going: • Create and continue trips without internet • Store GPS points locally • Auto-sync when the device is back online • Background retry for pending data ROLES AND CONTROL Users manage their own trips and history. Managers review team travel and live routes. Admins can view all requests, manage users, set fuel rates, export reports, and delete trips when needed. MAPS AND LOCATIONS Search and pin start and end locations so every trip is tied to a real place. Trip details open a full map with traveled path, live marker, and stop timeline. Completed trips keep the route for review. PRIVACY AND LOCATION Trip Track uses location to record official work travel: punch coordinates, live route, and distance. Background location is used only during an active trip until you mark arrival or complete the journey. Location is not used for advertising. We ask for: • Location While Using — to punch departure/arrival and show the live map • Location Always (recommended during a trip) — to keep GPS running in the background until the trip ends • Camera — if meter or site photos are captured • Notifications — for punch and tracking reminders Change location access anytime in iPhone Settings → Trip Track → Location. For a live trip, choose Always (or While Using, then allow background updates when prompted). WHY TEAMS USE TRIP TRACK Manual km logs are easy to forget and hard to verify. Trip Track gives Rayzon Solar one place to start a journey, prove the route, and close the day with numbers operations can trust. Start a trip. Drive. Punch. Sync. Your kilometers stay with you — online or off. Help? Contact your Rayzon Solar admin. Privacy: https://triptrack-api.rayzonsolar.one/privacy-policy.htmlRead more
