Out There!

Every day, Out There! gives you a photo prompt for observing the world. It may ask you to find a corner, a kind of fabric, a small inconvenience that still feels happy, or something you would normally pass without a second look. A prompt is not a task, and there is no right answer. Interpret it in your own way. You do not have to take a photo just to finish, and your photo does not have to be good enough. The photograph is secondary. The real experience happens when you begin to notice. With Out There! you can: • Receive a new observation prompt every day • Make one work for the day’s prompt • Revisit earlier prompts and photograph missed days • Use different formats and tactile photo filters • Save your photo and prompt as a Polaroid-style work • Create albums for daily works and spontaneous photos • Put recent prompts and works on your Home Screen • Download, share, or submit a work you love Your photos stay on your device by default and are never uploaded to Out There! servers. Deleting the app also deletes works you have not saved elsewhere, so export anything you want to keep first. As the virtual world grows, the real and physical world beyond our screens feels more precious than ever. We hope Out There! occasionally gives you a reason to be curious, take a walk, or simply do nothing for a while. Go beyond your phone. Go beyond your room.
