Ping is a personal safety companion that watches over you between check-ins — and alerts the people you trust if you can't. HOW PING WORKS 1. Set up your safe zones. Mark the places you spend time — home, work, school — and any areas you want to be alerted about. 2. Link the Ping app to your account. Your iPhone shares its location with your own private account, so the service always knows whether you are somewhere safe. 3. Go about your day. Ping checks in with you at the pace you choose. One tap on "All good" is all it takes. 4. Miss a check-in and Ping acts. First your chosen contacts are notified. If you still don't respond, the alert escalates to an emergency with your last known location. 5. In danger now? The panic function sends your location to your contacts immediately — no menus, no delays. WHY PEOPLE TRUST PING - Silence is the alert: you never have to remember to call for help. If you can't respond, Ping responds for you. - Your people, your rules: you choose exactly which contacts see your location and which receive emergency alerts. - You set the pace: check-in timers (T1 and T2) are fully configurable, with per-zone overrides. - Private by design: your location history belongs to you. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties. Delete your account and everything is removed — location history included.
