About
Altus brings the look and feel of a modern glass cockpit to your pilot logbook. Log every flight the way you actually fly — with optional GPS-based auto-detection for takeoffs and landings, manual start/stop whenever you want it, a fun PFD-style speed and altitude display, and runway-level tracking of your touch-and-goes, stop-and-goes, and full stops. KEY FEATURES - MANUAL OR AUTO DETECT Start and stop recording manually with a single tap, anytime. Or turn on Auto Detect in Settings, and recording will start and stop automatically once your speed crosses a threshold near an airport — the choice is yours, and you can switch between them at any time. - GLASS COCKPIT DISPLAY A fun, PFD-style instrument panel shows your GPS-based ground speed, altitude, heading, and recording status while you fly. This is a cosmetic feature for enjoyment only — it uses your phone's GPS, is not a certified instrument, and should never be used for navigation, flight decisions, or in place of your aircraft's actual instruments. - RUNWAY ACTIVITY TRACKING Automatically detects touch-and-goes, stop-and-goes, and full stops on the correct runway, based on your actual flight path — with manual editing always available for accuracy. - FLIGHT ROUTE PLAYBACK Review any flight on a 3D map with a time scrubber, synced altitude and speed graphs, and your in-flight photos pinned right where you took them. - DETAILED STATS See your total time, PIC time, dual time, instrument time, and more — broken down by aircraft, registration, and month. - EXCEL EXPORT Export your logbook in a standard column format, ready to print or archive. - CALENDAR VIEW See at a glance which days you flew, right from your logbook. - MULTI-LEG TRIPS Merge connected flights into a single trip for easy trip-based review. - APPLE WATCH SUPPORT Start and stop recording, and see your elapsed time, speed, and altitude, right from your wrist. Altus is a personal logbook tool, not a certified aviation instrument. All GPS-based detection (auto start/stop, runway activity, speed and altitude) is provided for convenience and record-keeping only — always verify your logged data and rely on your aircraft's instruments and your own judgment while flying. Whether you're a student pilot building hours or a certified pilot who just wants a better way to log flights, Altus makes your logbook feel like part of the airplane.Read more
