Gander: Audio Tour Guide

Gander is an audio walking guide for curious city explorers. Follow a self-guided walk, build one around your interests or wander freely, hear the stories behind nearby places, and ask about anything that catches your eye. FOLLOW A WALK Browse available guided walks, preview their routes and stops, and download one before you go. Hear researched stories as you walk, follow walking directions at your own pace, and pause whenever you want to explore. Downloaded routes and recorded stories can be used offline after access is established. BUILD YOUR OWN GUIDED WALK Choose a destination, approximate length and theme, then ask Gander to build a private guided walk for you. Let Gander choose the places or suggest stops you would like it to consider. You can follow the request in the app and get a notification when your walk is ready. WANDER AND ASK Start a Free Walk and choose your own path. Ask about a place in front of you, then keep the conversation going by voice or text. You can also ask Gander for walking directions to a destination along the way. KEEP YOUR EYES UP With compatible motion-capable AirPods, look towards a place and press a stem to ask about it while your iPhone stays in your pocket. Gander also works through your iPhone or other headphones; AirPods are optional. Add a soundtrack if you want music between stories. PLAN AHEAD Save trips, discover available walks, and download a guide before you travel. COVERAGE AND CONNECTION Coverage and guided-walk availability vary by location. Check the app before purchasing. New questions and Free Walk stories require an internet connection. GANDER PRO AND WEEK PASSES Choose an annual Gander Pro subscription or a one-off seven-day pass for walking access. Save a pass for a future trip: its seven consecutive days begin when you activate it, and it does not automatically renew. Prices and access details are shown in the app before purchase. Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
