About
You set four alarms. You turned off all four. You do not remember doing any of it. That is not a willpower problem, it is a design problem. Silencing a normal alarm takes half a second and zero brain cells, so your half-asleep hand does it for you and goes straight back to sleep. Then you wake up at 9:40 with a meeting already started. WakeHard takes the off switch away and puts a mission in front of it. No mission, no silence. THE ONLY WAY TO STOP IT IS TO PROVE YOU ARE AWAKE - Math: solve real problems before it goes quiet. Free tier gets single-digit; Pro adds two-digit multiplication and a difficulty slider. - Shake: shake the phone 20 to 100 times, verified by the motion sensor. You cannot fake it from under the duvet. - QR scan: register a code, tape it to the bathroom mirror, and you physically have to stand up and cross the room to shut the alarm off. - Tap: three deliberate taps, for the mornings you only need a nudge. The alarm keeps ringing the whole time you are solving. Quit the mission and it goes straight back to full volume. LOUD MEANS LOUD It rings at full volume, over your lock screen, and keeps the screen lit. Volume ramps up over ten seconds so it does not blow your ears out at second one. Swiping the notification does nothing at all. FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY TRIED EVERYTHING No sleep score. No snore recording. No gentle sunrise fade that you will sleep through. WakeHard does exactly one job: it gets you vertical. Built for the 8am-exam student, the shift worker who cannot afford one missed start, the ADHD morning that collapses at the first snooze, and anyone who has been told to "just go to bed earlier" one time too many. SNOOZE, ON YOUR TERMS Snooze is off by default, so the mission is the only way out. Turn it on per alarm if you want a fallback: five minutes, three times maximum. Even then, every snoozed ring makes you solve the mission again to silence it. TEST IT IN 60 SECONDS, BEFORE YOU TRUST IT Setup ends with a "Test it now" card. It sets a real alarm one minute out and asks you to flip the phone to silent and lock it. Sixty seconds later you find out exactly what this thing sounds like at 6am, and you solve your way out of it. No ad after that first one, ever. PAY ONCE, NOT EVERY MONTH Free: unlimited alarms, the full loud alarm, tap and math missions. Ads appear on the alarm list and after a dismissal. Never on the ringing screen and never during a mission. WakeHard Pro, $4.99 one time: every ad gone, plus hard math, shake and QR missions. It never renews and never asks again. An annual option exists if you would rather rent it, but the one-time unlock is the one we actually recommend. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS WakeHard Pro Annual is an auto-renewing subscription. - Length: 1 year. - Price: $9.99 per year (US).
