About

Football Parent Playbook is the plan a parent needs when their son wants to play college football — and nobody has told them how any of it works. It answers one question on every screen: what is the next right move, by his grade and by today's date, and why does it matter. THE RUNWAY — WHERE HE ACTUALLY IS A chalked yard-line strip from 7th grade to signing day, with his position on it today, the next NCAA date and how many days away it is, and a score across four pillars: academics, athleticism, film and outreach. Weighted for his grade, because outreach cannot matter yet in middle school. Free, in full. A CHECKLIST FOR THE GRADE HE IS IN Every year has its own board, and every step carries the reason behind it — not a tip, the rule. What to do in 7th grade is not what to do in 11th, and the app never shows you next year's job as though it were this year's. THE ELIGIBILITY MATHS, DONE FOR YOU Core courses against the Division I 16-unit table. The core GPA against the 2.3 minimum, and what he has to average across the units left to land on it. The 10-before-senior-year checkpoint. These are the rules that disqualify people quietly, years before anyone notices. THE DATES THAT DECIDE THINGS June 15 after sophomore year. September 1 of junior year. Both signing windows. Computed from his graduating class, counted down in days, with an optional reminder. HIS NUMBERS, RANKED HONESTLY Log the 40, the 10-yard split, pro agility and the vertical. Each one is ranked against published age-band norms for boys his age — so when he gets faster and the percentile still falls, the app says so and explains that the band moved with his birthday. WHAT IT IS COSTING, AND WHETHER IT IS WORTH IT A spend ledger for camps, trainers, team dues, travel and gear. Score any program against seven red flags and five green ones drawn from published consumer-protection guidance, before the money moves. THE PART NOBODY EXPLAINS Fourteen guides written for parents: the NCAA ID nobody mentions, what D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO actually are, how to write the introduction email, how long the highlight reel should be. Always free. PLAYBOOK PRO (optional subscription) The computed half: every other grade's board as a look-ahead, your own custom steps, percentile trends across sessions, vetting for every program you pay rather than just the first, cost per outcome, and the weekly parent brief. - Monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for eligible accounts - Prices are shown on the purchase screen before you buy - Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS Not affiliated with the NCAA, the NFL, or any school, league, camp or recruiting service. It promises no scholarship and no roster spot, and it projects no division from any number — nobody can, and the ones who say they can are the reason this app has a vetting tool. Everything it shows is arithmetic over what you logged, plus published rules. There is no AI, and your data is yours: delete your account from inside the app at any time.
