About

Climbr is a shared budget for two people. Photograph a receipt, check what it read, and it is logged for both of you. RECEIPTS, NOT DATA ENTRY Point your camera at a receipt. Climbr reads the shop, the date and the total, and fills the form in for you. You check it and pick a category. That is the whole thing. Nothing saves until you have seen it. Climbr shows you what it read and flags anything it was not sure about. YOUR RECEIPTS STAY ON YOUR PHONE Receipt photos are never uploaded. Not to us, not to a backup, and not to the person you share the budget with — they see the purchase, never the photograph. Reading the receipt happens on your device too. The picture, and the text taken from it, never leave the phone. Only the fields you confirm are shared. A BUDGET BOTH OF YOU CAN SEE Set a monthly amount per category. Anything either of you logs shows up for the other within a few seconds. Budgets are month by month, so changing one in March does not rewrite February. ALSO IN THE APP • Savings funds for the things you are putting money aside for • Split one purchase across several categories • Record what came in, and what is sitting in your accounts • Track which card paid, including the separate number Apple Pay uses • An optional reminder when you walk out of a shop WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Climbr does not connect to your bank. Nothing is imported for you — you log what you spend, which is the part that makes you notice it. There are no forecasts and no projections. Climbr shows what happened, not what it thinks will happen next. Free, with no ads and nothing to subscribe to. No analytics either — the app has no tracking or crash-reporting SDK in it at all.Read more
