About

QuikSkope is the driver app for truckers hauling loads for brokers and shippers that use QuikSkope to verify pickups. If your broker uses QuikSkope, you get a text with a link when it is time to verify. Take a photo of your truck door and you are cleared to load — no phone calls, no sitting at the guard shack while someone tries to reach dispatch. WHAT YOU DO IN THE APP • Verify at pickup — photograph your truck door. QuikSkope reads the MC/DOT number and matches it against the load paperwork. • Show your pickup code — a one-time code that proves to the shipper you are the truck that was dispatched. • Say you are on your way — one tap tells the broker you have started, so they stop calling you for check-calls. • Upload documents — bill of lading, cab card, and receipts, straight from your phone. • Complete delivery — record who received the freight and upload the signed receipt. • Report a problem — detention, a wrong address, a load that is not ready. It reaches the broker with a timestamp. • Sign in with your phone number. A code by text, no password to remember. Optional Face ID or fingerprint lock keeps your load details private if you hand your phone over at a gate. LOCATION QuikSkope collects location data to track your load in transit, even when the app is closed or not in use. That is what lets the broker see your ETA without calling you, and what shows you were at the shipper and at the consignee if a claim comes up later. Location sharing is tied to a load, not to you: • It starts when you tap "Yes, I'm on my way" for a pickup, or a few hours before your scheduled pickup appointment. • It pauses once you reach the shipper, and runs again from the time you are loaded until you deliver. • It does not run when you have no active load. Off duty, deadheading for someone else, or between loads, the app is not tracking you. You can turn background location off at any time in your phone settings. Tracking then stops when your screen locks, and the app tells you plainly that the load is no longer being tracked. WHY BROKERS ASK FOR IT Cargo theft usually starts with a truck that is not the truck that was dispatched. A photo at the dock and a verified MC number close that gap in about thirty seconds. For legitimate carriers it is the fastest part of the pickup — and it is why the load came to you with QuikSkope attached. WHAT YOU NEED • A load assigned to you by a broker or shipper that uses QuikSkope. The app does not create loads on its own, so there is nothing to see until one is assigned. • A working phone number for sign-in. • Camera access for verification photos, and location access for tracking.
