Write a reply, tap Translate, and insert the result into the active text field. Receive a message in another language? Copy it and use Bilingual’s paste button to translate it without opening a separate translator. Choose alternative suggestions when needed. Optional on-device learning helps recognize your vocabulary, with controls to manage your personal word bank or reset learning. TYPE IN MORE LANGUAGES Bilingual includes multilingual Latin keyboards, Japanese Kana Flick and Romaji typing with offline Kana-to-Kanji conversion, Korean 2-Set Hangul composition, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese Pinyin input. Swipe typing is available for English. FREE ON-DEVICE TRANSLATION Download Google language models once, then translate without a per-message fee. Apple Translation is also available inside the Bilingual app for supported language pairs. TRY AI NATIVE FOR FREE AI Native translates meaning and intent while helping your message sound natural. Enable Free AI Translations in the app to use five short translations a day with Casual, Standard, and Polite tones. No subscription required. AI translation requires an internet connection. Text recognition runs on your device. Results may vary with image quality and layout. BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND Bilingual does not continuously upload what you type. Offline translation, swipe recognition and learning, supported keyboard composition, and image text recognition run on your device. With your permission, AI Native sends submitted text and applicable translation preferences, including saved terminology, to OpenAI through Bilingual’s service. Images and unrelated typing are not uploaded. Some features and on-device language availability may vary by provider, language pair, device, and region. Pro allows up to 500 AI requests per day and 10,000 per calendar month, shared across devices, with up to 8,000 characters per request and 10 requests per minute. Limits reset in UTC without rollover. On-device translation does not use this allowance. Bilingual Pro is an optional monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store subscription settings.
