About
You have been to this restaurant before. What was good? Most of us answer that from memory, badly, and re-order the thing that disappointed us last time. Log Dishes is a notebook for the answer. Log a meal before you leave the table Scan the bill and the dish names come off it — no typing a menu into a phone in front of your friends. Everything you ordered arrives as a list. Rate what you want to rate, scroll past what you don't, and you're done. One rating, not five Every dish gets one of four answers: Loved, Liked, Meh, or Would not order again. That's it. A number out of five means nothing to you in eight months — “would not order again” means exactly what it says, forever. Skipping a dish is a real answer too, and the app treats it as one. Then it tells you what to order Open a restaurant before you go and the dishes are sorted by what you actually thought of them, with your own notes attached. “Ask for it extra crisp.” “Too sweet, split one.” The things you would never remember and always wish you had. Notes on the place, not just the plate Whether it was too loud to talk. Whether parking was a nightmare. Whether you'd go back at all. A restaurant you'd rather avoid outranks its one good dish. If you have an allergy Add your allergens and each dish gains a place to record what you asked for, what the kitchen said, and whether anything happened afterwards. A dish that has ever caused a reaction is flagged hard the next time you look at it. If you don't add allergens, you never see any of this. Your log is yours No account. No servers of ours. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Everything stays on your iPhone and syncs through your own private iCloud — we cannot see any of it. Bill photos are read and immediately discarded; they are never saved or uploaded. Export everything to a plain file whenever you like. Log Dishes works fully offline, with no account and no sign-in, forever.Read more
You have been to this restaurant before. What was good?
Most of us answer that from memory, badly, and re-order the thing that disappointed us last time. Log Dishes is a notebook for the answer.
Log a meal before you leave the table
Scan the bill and the dish names come off it — no typing a menu into a phone in front of your friends. Everything you ordered arrives as a list. Rate what you want to rate, scroll past what you don't, and you're done.
One rating, not five
Every dish gets one of four answers: Loved, Liked, Meh, or Would not order again. That's it. A number out of five means nothing to you in eight months — “would not order again” means exactly what it says, forever. Skipping a dish is a real answer too, and the app treats it as one.
Then it tells you what to order
Open a restaurant before you go and the dishes are sorted by what you actually thought of them, with your own notes attached. “Ask for it extra crisp.” “Too sweet, split one.” The things you would never remember and always wish you had.
Notes on the place, not just the plate
Whether it was too loud to talk. Whether parking was a nightmare. Whether you'd go back at all. A restaurant you'd rather avoid outranks its one good dish.
If you have an allergy
Add your allergens and each dish gains a place to record what you asked for, what the kitchen said, and whether anything happened afterwards. A dish that has ever caused a reaction is flagged hard the next time you look at it. If you don't add allergens, you never see any of this.
Your log is yours
