About

Daylog is a life record that fills itself in. Every day, Daylog reads what your iPhone already knows: your steps and distance, your sleep and workouts from Apple Watch, the places your photos were taken, the weather, and the photos you took. It lays them out as the day you actually had. You add the parts a phone can't know: how you felt, what you ate and with whom, a habit or two, and a few sentences if you want them. WHAT YOU GET Today. Your day as recorded, place by place and photo by photo, with a check-in that takes a minute. History. A calendar of every recorded day, coloured by what's there. Switch the view to mood, alcohol, exercise or dining out and see patterns across a month, a year or your whole life. Day pages. Open any day and see everything Daylog holds for it: the photos, the route, the numbers, the meals, your words. Recaps. Your month, year and life told from what's recorded, in plain sentences that never claim more than the data supports. Chapters. Daylog reads the locations of your photo library, going back years, and works out where you lived and when. Confirm, adjust or add chapters from memory, and your life gets a table of contents. Search. Find the dinner, the person, the place or the mood. HONEST BY DESIGN Daylog never invents anything. Every fact shows where it came from. If a source is missing, you see an empty space, not a guess dressed up as a fact. Anything Daylog infers, such as the name of a place, you can correct with a tap, and the correction sticks. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no server, no analytics, no ads. Health, Photos and Location are read only after you allow each one in iOS's own dialogs, and you can revoke any of them in Settings. Daylog reads Apple Health (steps, distance, sleep, workouts, date of birth), Photos (dates, places and counts, never the pictures themselves). Your location is used once per visit to the app, for today's weather only, and is never stored. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. Requires iOS 26 and an iPhone. An Apple Watch adds sleep and workouts.Read more
