About

Apple Reminders is a great place to capture a task. It's a terrible place to plan one. There's no duration, no sense of what depends on what, and no answer to the only question that matters: when am I actually doing this? Slotted is the layer in between. It reads the reminder lists you choose, lets you say how long each task takes, works out where they fit around the meetings you already have, and writes real time blocks onto your calendar. You don't move in. Keep capturing with Siri, the share sheet, and the lists you already use. Slotted's only job is placement. HOW IT WORKS • Pick which reminder lists Slotted should read. • Give each task a duration. • Tap Schedule. Slotted checks your real free/busy across every calendar, respects your workday hours, keeps a daily cap so your day is never booked solid, and places what fits. • Anything it couldn't place tells you why: no gap big enough, deadline passed, or waiting on something else. IT RESPECTS WHAT YOU'VE ALREADY DECIDED • Blocks go in a calendar Slotted creates and owns, called "Slotted." Your other calendars are never touched. • Drag a block in Calendar and it stays put. Rescheduling plans around it. • Delete a block and Slotted asks before putting anything back. • Any replan that would move blocks you already have is shown as a plain-language diff first. Nothing is written until you accept it, and there's an undo. DEPENDENCIES Say that one task waits for another. Slotted still schedules the downstream work — marked tentative, so your week reads honestly instead of looking fraudulently empty — and moves it when the upstream task finishes early or slips. Circular dependencies are caught and shown, never silently dropped. OPTIONAL, AND ON YOUR DEVICE If your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence, Slotted can suggest a duration from a task's title, break a vague task into subtasks, or turn a paragraph of brain dump into a proper list. Every suggestion is editable before anything is written, and nothing is committed without you. These are extras: typing durations yourself is the default, and the app is fully functional without them. PRIVACY, PLAINLY • No account. No sign-in. • No servers. Slotted has no backend to send anything to. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads. • It works on a plane. The optional model features run entirely on your device. Your tasks are yours. ONE-TIME PURCHASE Buy it once. No subscription, no credits, no tiers. Requires iOS 26. Slotted needs Reminders access to know what to schedule and Calendar access to know when you're free. It only ever writes to its own calendar, and the only thing it changes on a reminder is its start date, so it shows up at the right time in your Scheduled list.Read more
