About
Ten winding roads lead to your gate. Hold every one of them. Casania is a royal castle-defence game with the patience of a strategy title and the manners of a court. Raise garrisons on the stone foundations beside the road, fortify them with the gold your kills earn, and spend the King's decrees when the line bends. TEN REALMS, EACH ITS OWN PLACE From the twelve waves of the Greenmarch to the thirty-two of the Last Bastion, every realm has its own road, its own weather and its own length. EIGHT GARRISONS, THREE TIERS EACH The Archer Turret is the backbone. The Ballista skewers a whole file with one bolt. Boiling Oil answers a crowd, the Mage Spire chills the marrow, and the Trebuchet outthrows everything in the realm — but is blind up close. The Frost Obelisk and the Sanctum fire nothing at all: one slows everything in its ring, the other sharpens every garrison inside it. NINE FOES WITH NINE ANSWERS Ogres in plate shrug off arrows. Wraiths ignore your bends and drift straight for the gate. Warg riders are too sure-footed for frost or light. A Sapper's keg takes the gate apart on its own, a Siege Tower spills its crew when it breaks, and every tenth wave the Warlord rides in behind a horn, with a health bar of his own. THE CASINOLY DECK Hold every third wave of an endless siege and the steward lays out three cards: a purse, a whetstone, a drill yard, a tithe, masons at work, swift heralds, winter's grip, the King's levy, a field promotion. Take one. Nothing is staked and nothing is lost — the only chance is in what you are offered, and the choice itself is the play. The muster clock is held while the cards are down. THE CHRONICLE OF CASINIA The King's chronicler keeps a record of your reign and writes down only what is new: a first road closed, three stars, an endless siege carried deeper than that wall has stood, the first Warlord felled, a trial answered, a castle repainted. A gate that fell after a long stand is set down as plainly as a victory. A KING WHO TEACHES, THEN KEEPS QUIET There is no tutorial screen. King Casimir teaches your first siege by having you fight it, then speaks only to a real mistake — a trebuchet hugging the road, a Warg Rider through a line of frost — and never twice the same. Switch him off in Settings, or hear the lessons again. KING CASIMIR'S TRIALS Twenty-four handcrafted puzzles in four books. Each hands you a fixed purse, a short loadout and a few foundations to build on, then sends one written host up the road. The muster has no clock, nothing may be raised once the host is marching, and the gate must not be touched. Your edicts are left at the door, so the answer never changes as you get richer. No trial has a coin of slack: take one stone away and it falls. THREE WAYS TO FIGHT Campaign rates your stand out of three stars; three means a gate never touched. Endless opens once a realm is held and simply keeps coming. The Daily Siege is one seeded run a day — same realm, same difficulty, same twist for everyone — worked out from your device's date, not fetched. THREE DIFFICULTIES, AND A COURT TO SPEND IN Squire, Knight and Marshal scale the host, the purse and the gate. Treasury gold buys four standing edicts, twelve castle skins that repaint the gatehouse and the road, and twenty-nine medals. FELT AS WELL AS HEARD Every cue has a haptic pattern composed for it rather than a generic buzz: the trebuchet winds and releases, the horn swells out of nothing, and the gate lands harder than anything else. BUILT TO BE PLAYED BY ANYONE VoiceOver labels throughout, Dynamic Type honoured, Reduce Motion followed from the system or forced in Settings, a marker for the riders frost cannot hold, and gate integrity notched as well as coloured. COMPLETELY OFFLINE No account. No network. No advertisements. No purchases of any kind. Your stars, your medals and the siege you put down between waves live on this device and nowhere else. Fortitudo et Defensio. Strength and defence. Hold the gate.Read more

Two additions, and both stay entirely offline. THE CASINOLY DECK • Hold every third wave of an endless siege and the steward lays out three cards. Take one • Nine of them: a purse of gold, a whetstone, a drill yard, a tithe, masons at work, swift heralds, winter's grip, the King's levy and a field promotion • Nothing is staked and nothing is lost. The only chance is in what you are offered — the choice itself is the play • A hand never holds a dead card: no mending a gate that was never touched, no promotion with nothing left to fortify • The muster clock is held while the cards are down, so …
