About
Record HAR files on your phone or tablet, with no proxy and no desktop computer. browsHAR is a native mobile browser that captures every request a web page makes and exports it as a standards-compliant HAR 1.2 archive. There is no proxy to configure, no root certificate to trust, no VPN profile and no desktop in the loop. Open the page, tap record, reproduce the issue and share the file. CAPTURE WHAT THE PAGE ACTUALLY DOES Recording runs inside a built-in WebKit browser and covers documents, iframes, redirects, fetch, XHR, sendBeacon and WebSocket messages. A live inspector shows status, size, headers, request and response bodies, and a per-request timing breakdown while you browse. FILES YOUR TOOLS ALREADY READ Exports open in Chrome DevTools, Charles, Fiddler, Firefox and the Google HAR Analyzer. Chrome's cache and resource-type fields are included, so filtering and waterfalls behave the way you expect. REDACTION ON BY DEFAULT Cookies, Authorization headers, JWTs, bearer tokens, OAuth fragment tokens and credential-bearing base64 payloads are redacted on-device before anything is written. If you turn redaction off, the app tells you exactly which credentials the file contains before you share it. A LIBRARY BUILT FOR HANDOFF Rename recordings and send them with the system share sheet or save them to Files. Capture is crash-safe: if a recording is interrupted, it is recovered on next launch. VERIFIABLE, NOT ASSUMED Quick self-test and Probe bench fire known requests at a local responder and grade the resulting archive on the device, so you can confirm what is captured before relying on it. STRICTLY REAL FINDINGS Unknown timings and sizes are written as -1, never invented. Truncated bodies are always marked. One limitation: subresources such as images and fonts are recorded with timings and sizes, but without bodies. PRIVACY No accounts. No analytics. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it. WHO THIS IS FOR Web developers debugging mobile WebKit behavior, QA testers attaching evidence to bug reports, and support engineers who need a network log from a customer's phone or tablet without walking them through proxy setup. browsHAR is free, with no in-app purchases. Download and get your next network log with minimal fuss.Read more
