DISHA Connect

DISHA Connect helps Hindu-Americans turn their personal networks into a force for civic participation — one text at a time. Built by DISHA USA, a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit, DISHA Connect is strictly non-partisan. The app never supports or opposes any political party, candidate, or ballot measure — its only purpose is to encourage the community to register, learn, and vote. PRIVACY-FIRST CONTACT MATCHING When you open the app, your phone contacts are hashed and matched entirely on your device using secure SHA-256 hashing. Your raw contact list is never transmitted to or stored on DISHA's servers — only the match results (which contacts are in the community voter file) come back to you. SEND TEXTS FROM YOUR OWN NUMBER Reach out to matched contacts individually or in bulk. Every message opens in your phone's native Messages app, pre-filled from a coordinator-reviewed, non-partisan template you can personalize. Messages send from your own number — DISHA never sends on your behalf and never reads your message content. TRACK YOUR IMPACT See your own outreach stats — contacts matched, texts sent, confirmed votes — and opt in to a community leaderboard to see how your county is doing together. DISHA Connect is an independent, non-partisan civic organization. It is not affiliated with, operated by, or endorsed by any government agency. ASK A CIVICS QUESTION Get AI-assisted answers to general civics questions, with sources cited so you can verify anything important. A visible disclaimer reminds you the AI can make mistakes — always double-check anything that matters. This is English only feature. STAY IN THE LOOP Get updates and event announcements from DISHA USA, with flyers you can save or share with your community. MULTI-LANGUAGE SUPPORT Use the app in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, or Malayalam. INVITE-ONLY ACCESS DISHA Connect is not open to public self-registration. Access requires a valid invite code from a DISHA coordinator, keeping the volunteer community accountable and the voter data protected. DISHA USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that empowers the Hindu-American community to engage fully in American civic life, guided by the values of Dharma and Seva. We never endorse, oppose, or support any political candidate or party. Learn more at www.dishausa.org.
