GrooveX

GrooveX is a practice and lesson companion built specifically for drum students and drum teachers — not a generic music app repurposed for percussion. FOR STUDENTS - Log every practice session, with notes on what you worked on - Free practice mode with a built-in timer — no assignment needed to count toward your daily goal - A metronome built for drummers: five click sounds, independent subdivision volume mixer (quarter/eighth/sixteenth/triplet), tap tempo, and true gapless timing - See assignments from your teacher and get feedback on submitted videos - Message your teacher directly inside the app - Track your lesson schedule, hours practiced, and session streaks FOR TEACHERS - Manage your full student roster from one dashboard - Track lesson packages, remaining credits, and attendance in seconds - Set weekly schedules and see them reflected on every student's home screen - Create assignments, review submitted practice videos, and send feedback - Message students and parents directly - See exactly who's falling behind on practice — before it becomes a problem OUR PHILOSOPHY GrooveX is built around four teaching principles: groove before speed, musicality before technique, consistency before complexity, and confidence before perfection. These aren't slogans — they shape every feature in the app, from how practice goals are framed to how feedback is delivered. Built for players learning pop, rock, funk, metal, punk, anime/J-rock, and worship styles, GrooveX works for complete beginners as young as 6 through adult hobbyists and exam candidates. GrooveX is currently used by real drum students and teachers as part of an active studio curriculum — it's not a concept app, it's a working tool refined through daily classroom use.
