About

You open your list and twenty things are already on it. By the time you have decided where to start, you no longer want to. SixDo only lets you write six. There is no seventh line, so you choose before you write. No ads. Free. ■ What the Ivy Lee Method is A hundred-year-old habit, from a consultant named Ivy Lee in 1918. 1. At the end of the day, write down up to six things for tomorrow 2. Put them in order of importance 3. The next day, work down the list 4. Whatever is left moves to the following day 5. Repeat That is all of it. Deciding less in the morning is the point. ■ What SixDo does ・No ads, at all Not in the free version either. Nothing here competes for your attention. ・Six is a ceiling, not a quota Three things on a three-thing day is fine. No filler. ・Edit in place Tap a task to change it. No separate screen to go to. ・Order without obligation Top to bottom is the idea, but finish whatever you can. ・Unfinished work moves on It carries to the next day by itself. You can turn that off. ・Notifications only when there is a reason In the evening, only if tomorrow is still empty. In the morning, only if something is left. Not a fixed alarm. Each can be turned off. ・Your records survive a new phone Export and import, and it is included in your iCloud backup. ・Light, dark, or match your device ・Look back at what you finished A year of it, on a calendar. Free. ■ Who it suits ・You have too much to do and lose the morning deciding where to start ・You installed a to-do app once, and it had too much in it ・You are tired of apps full of advertising ・You want the first hour of the day to be easier ■ SixDo Pro (one-time purchase, optional) Free is not a trial. Keeping to six a day works fully without paying, and there are no ads either way. Pro is for people who want more from it. ・Separate work and personal … six each, and they never mix ・Someday … park what you cannot move on yet, with a note ・Insights … your streak, your best days, and the work/personal split ・Weekly review … a Sunday evening note on how many you finished ・Colors … four accent colors Not a subscription. Buy once, keep it. ■ Privacy Nothing is collected. What you type stays on your iPhone. There is no account and no sign-in. Six things, in order, from the top. That is enough to change a day.Read more
