About

Inherit a dead diner and a notebook full of your grandfather's handwriting. Merge two ingredients, discover a recipe, and cook your way through a story about a town that stopped talking about food. Grandpa's Kitchen is a cozy merge puzzle wrapped in a hand-drawn narrative adventure. Nothing to buy, no account, no connection needed. Just a board of ingredients and 180 recipes waiting to be found. MERGE TWO THINGS, DISCOVER A THIRD Drag one ingredient onto another and see what happens. Egg plus flour makes dough. Dough plus fire makes bread. Bread plus cheese makes something your grandfather wrote down decades ago and never explained. It takes one second to learn and a long, satisfying while to finish: 180 recipes across four tiers of the pantry, each one a small "aha" you found yourself. There is no combination list, and nothing telling you what to do next. The pantry is the puzzle, the fun is in the guessing, and the board never runs out on you. A NOTEBOOK THAT SLOWLY FILLS UP Your recipe book is the collection. Locked silhouettes to hunt down, page counters creeping toward completion, and hints for when you are genuinely stuck, not just impatient. Legendary dishes sit at the end of long chains and take half the pantry to pull off. Nothing you discover is ever lost, spent or consumed: once a recipe is in the notebook, it is yours for good. TWENTY-FOUR CHAPTERS OF STORY Mateo inherits Casa Emilio: a closed diner, a pile of debt and a recipe notebook nobody has opened in years. Eight chapters in town, then the world. You will meet Carmen, who never stopped believing in the place. Valentina, the rival cook across the square, who is funnier than she is kind. The food critic everyone calls The Palate. And Aldo, the man behind the MegaFood chain, who knows exactly why a restaurant really dies. Hand-drawn scenes, letters from your grandfather that arrive at the worst possible moments, and a line worth staying for: a restaurant does not die of debt, it dies of silence. THE WORLD TOUR Then the twist, and volume one of the notebook. Italy, Japan, Mexico and France, unlocked one after another, each with a brand-new pantry from zero, four chapters of its own, a local mentor who owes your grandfather something, and one legendary page to recover. Naples, Kyoto, Oaxaca, Marseille. Recover all four pages and the story closes for good, back where it started. VALENTINA'S DIARY The slow-burn thread that runs alongside everything else. Twelve milestones, one sharp-tongued rival, and a romance you earn by cooking exactly what she is craving. Cravings come three at a time and refill on their own, so the diary unfolds at its own pace. Never sugary, always earned, and easy to ignore if you are only here for the puzzle. DAILY CHALLENGES AND ACHIEVEMENTS Three fresh challenges every day, sized for a five-minute commute, plus 26 achievements that span the whole notebook, from your first fried egg to the last page of volume one. MADE TO BE PLAYED SLOWLY Hand-drawn art in every scene, an original soundtrack of more than a dozen tracks, haptics on every merge, and one-handed portrait play. Put it down mid-chapter and pick it up a week later exactly where you left it, nothing taken away for leaving. NO ADS, NO PURCHASES, NO ACCOUNT No ads, not even the rewarded kind. Nothing here costs real money either: no in-app purchases, no premium currency, no paywall at chapter three. Every coin and every hint is earned by playing. No sign-up and no email: your progress lives on your device, which is why it works on a plane, on the subway or in the middle of nowhere. The only thing leaving your phone is anonymous play statistics, never tied to you and never used for ads. FIVE LANGUAGES Fully playable in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German — story and recipe names included, not just the menus. Your grandfather left you two things: a kitchen nobody comes to, and a notebook nobody has opened in years. That is more than enough to start.Read more
