Mr de Beer: Storybook Maker

Bible stories that pop up. Point your phone at a page of one of our six Bible books, and the scene stands up on your table in 3D. Tap a character to play part of the story. Then make your own picture book, with your child in it. Mr de Beer, a kind bear in a flat cap, helps you at every step. Tell him who the hero is and what happens. Or start from a photo of your child, their teddy, or a drawing they made. He writes a first draft and paints every page. Then you make it yours. POP-UP PAGES Six Bible books in our library pop up: David and Goliath, Jonah and the Great Fish, Moses and the Bronze Snake, Jesus Is Born, Jesus Calms the Storm, and Five Loaves and Two Fish. Every page has its own scene, and Mr de Beer reads the page aloud. Two scenes in each book are free to try. The books you make yourself do not pop up. CHANGE ANY PAGE Type over the words. Ask for a change in one line, like "Make it funnier" or "Add the dog". Drag the hero, the dog or the moon around the page. Ask for a new picture. Undo is always there. MASTERPIECE MODE Want our best pictures? Pick Masterpiece, and every page is painted as one full picture. Changed the story later? Paint from my story paints only the pages you pick. YOUR CAST Every character gets a card and looks the same on every page. Keep them for your next book. Remix a character to make them run, sleep or wave. HOW CREDITS WORK Your account starts with free credits, enough for a first book. AI work uses credits: a draft, a rewrite, a new picture. Masterpiece pages use more. Moving parts and typing your own words never use credits. Buy more credits in the app when you need them. The Mr de Beer Pass is optional: 60 credits a month, read-aloud on every book, the whole of each Bible book in Pop-up Pages, and less on prints. It renews monthly or yearly until you cancel. The editor itself is always free. MADE WITH AI. DECIDED BY YOU. The words, pictures and narrator voices are made with AI. Every story is written to be kind, with nothing scarier than a storybook, no brands and no real people. AI can still get things wrong, so you read every page first. You decide every word. PHOTOS: WHAT WE KEEP AND WHY Words are always enough. A photo is optional, and you say yes first. For a photo of your child, you tick that you are their parent or guardian. The picture goes to Google's Gemini service to be painted. We keep a smaller copy, with its location taken out, in private storage, only to paint that card again. We never share it or use it to train AI. Delete the card, or tap Withdraw consent in Account, and the picture is deleted. The camera is used only when you take a photo or open Pop-up Pages. The app never uses your microphone. YOUR BOOKS ARE YOURS Your books are private to your account. We do not sell them or use them to advertise.
