About
Your work photos do not belong in your camera roll. Camerata is a camera, and a place to keep what it shoots. Photos and video go straight into a named collection — Kitchen Remodel, Tuesday's Clients, the blue Fiat — and they stay there, on your phone, instead of piling up in the same album as your kids' birthdays. No account, no subscription, no cloud. Camerata has no servers and never uploads anything, so nothing you shoot can go anywhere you did not send it yourself. And because Camerata's files sit in the app's own storage, they are included in your iPhone's normal backup. SHOOT INTO A COLLECTION Set it to open on the camera and it starts pointed at the collection you were last using, or set it to open on your list of collections instead. Photo or video, front or back, flash, torch, self-timer, a thirds grid, and a choice of 4:3, 16:9 or square, with the preview shaped to match what the file will be. BEFORE AND AFTER, SIDE BY SIDE Pick two photos and Compare builds the composite: stacked or across, one-over-two, three or four up. Pan and zoom each photo inside its own cell, straighten a shot that was taken from a slightly different angle, add Before and After labels, set a border, and — when the subject is a person — double-tap a face to cover the eyes before it goes anywhere. Save the result to your photo library, ready to post or send to the client. The originals are never touched. FIND THINGS AGAIN Collections show a cover, a count and the date of the newest thing in them. Inside, search runs over your notes, items sort newest or oldest first, favorites get a heart, and any item can carry a note. Tap a photo for the full-screen viewer, pinch to zoom, and open Info for the date, the dimensions and the file size. BRING PHOTOS IN Import from your photo library one at a time or a whole album, or send them over from another app with Add to Camerata in the share sheet. Importing copies the file — your original stays exactly where it was. AND TAKE THEM BACK OUT Save any selection to your photo library, or save a whole collection out as an album named for it. Send items out through the iOS share sheet. Optionally stamp the date and the collection name on the copy you send, never on the original. Nothing is one-way, and nothing is held back. NOTHING GOES MISSING QUIETLY Deleting an item moves it to Recently Deleted, where it can be put back. Only the choices that destroy something for good — Delete now, and Empty — ask you to confirm, and they are the only things in the app that do. Settings shows exactly how much space each collection is using, so you can see where it went. LOCK IT Turn the lock on and Camerata asks for Face ID, or your passcode, before it opens. Light and dark themes, and a neutral grey interface throughout, because tinted chrome next to a photo shifts how skin tone reads. MADE FOR PEOPLE WHOSE PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE JOB Injectors and estheticians, tattoo artists, stylists, colorists and barbers, nail techs, pet groomers, car detailers, cleaners, landscapers, contractors and trades, agents, trainers and physios — anyone who documents work, a repair, or a result over time, and would rather not scroll past a client's face to find a photo of their dog. WHAT CAMERATA DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO No sync, no accounts, no subscription, no ads, no analytics, no AI. Your photos live on your phone. That is the whole idea. Camerata does not provide medical, diagnostic, or record-keeping compliance of any kind. It is a place to keep photographs.Read more
Your work photos do not belong in your camera roll.
SHOOT INTO A COLLECTION
Set it to open on the camera and it starts pointed at the collection you were last using, or set it to open on your list of collections instead. Photo or video, front or back, flash, torch, self-timer, a thirds grid, and a choice of 4:3, 16:9 or square, with the preview shaped to match what the file will be.
BEFORE AND AFTER, SIDE BY SIDE
Pick two photos and Compare builds the composite: stacked or across, one-over-two, three or four up.
FIND THINGS AGAIN
Collections show a cover, a count and the date of the newest thing in them. Inside, search runs over your notes, items sort newest or oldest first, favorites get a heart, and any item can carry a note. Tap a photo for the full-screen viewer, pinch to zoom, and open Info for the date, the dimensions and the file size.
BRING PHOTOS IN
Import from your photo library one at a time or a whole album, or send them over from another app with Add to Camerata in the share sheet. Importing copies the file — your original stays exactly where it was.
AND TAKE THEM BACK OUT
Save any selection to your photo library, or save a whole collection out as an album named for it. Send items out through the iOS share sheet. Optionally stamp the date and the collection name on the copy you send, never on the original. Nothing is one-way, and nothing is held back.
NOTHING GOES MISSING QUIETLY
Deleting an item moves it to Recently Deleted, where it can be put back. Only the choices that destroy something for good — Delete now, and Empty — ask you to confirm, and they are the only things in the app that do. Settings shows exactly how much space each collection is using, so you can see where it went.
LOCK IT
Turn the lock on and Camerata asks for Face ID, or your passcode, before it opens. Light and dark themes, and a neutral grey interface throughout, because tinted chrome next to a photo shifts how skin tone reads.
MADE FOR PEOPLE WHOSE PHOTOS ARE PART OF THE JOB
Injectors and estheticians, tattoo artists, stylists, colorists and barbers, nail techs, pet groomers, car detailers, cleaners, landscapers, contractors and trades, agents, trainers and physios — anyone who documents work, a repair, or a result over time, and would rather not scroll past a client's face to find a photo of their dog.
WHAT CAMERATA DELIBERATELY DOES NOT DO
No sync, no accounts, no subscription, no ads, no analytics, no AI. Your photos live on your phone. That is the whole idea.
Camerata does not provide medical, diagnostic, or record-keeping compliance of any kind. It is a place to keep photographs.
