About
U-Serve Captain turns a phone or tablet into a waiter's order terminal for the U-Serve restaurant POS. Take the order where the customer is sitting, send it to the kitchen the moment it is confirmed, settle the bill and print the receipt — without a single walk back to the till. This is staff software, issued by the restaurant. It connects to your own U-Serve POS server; there is no public sign-up and no account to create. TAKE THE ORDER AT THE TABLE • Your branch's own service types — dine-in, takeaway, drive-thru, delivery or whatever your POS defines — read live from the server. • Dine-in opens on your floor plan: tap a table to start it, tap an occupied one to go back to the order already on it. • The full menu with categories, search, sizes and add-on groups exactly as the POS prices them, including open-price items you key in by hand. • Add-ons carry their own count, so two sandwiches with three portions of garlic ring up correctly instead of being guessed at. EDIT WITHOUT LOSING THE KITCHEN'S WORK • Re-open a running order, change lines, add rounds and save. Anything the kitchen has already made is protected from being reduced by mistake — but you can always order one more. • Discounts, coupons and surcharges are applied under your POS's own rules; the coupon is validated by the server, never invented on the device. • Service charges your branch defines are previewed in the cart, so the total on screen is the total at the till. PAYMENT AND PRINTING • Take cash or card, split and settle, with change calculated for you. • Print the bill on a Bluetooth or network thermal printer paired to the device, or hand the job to the Windows POS by the pass — and choose per bill which one. • Receipts are printed as images, so Arabic, English and your branch logo come out exactly as they look on screen. KEEPS WORKING WHEN THE NETWORK DOESN'T • Wi-Fi dropping in the middle of service does not stop the shift. The menu, prices, tables and settings are held on the device, and orders can be built, edited, paid, cancelled and printed offline. • Every offline order carries a reference of its own so it can be found and spoken about before the POS ever sees it, and an offline bill says so on the paper. • The moment the server answers, everything queued is sent in order, and a sync screen shows exactly what has landed and what has not. Nothing is silently dropped. BUILT FOR A SHIFT • English and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout. • Light and dark themes, drawn for a dim dining room as much as a bright terrace. • Live order list that updates as the kitchen works, with a status indicator that tells you whether you are seeing changes the second they happen. • Phone and tablet layouts, with targets sized for a thumb in motion. REQUIREMENTS U-Serve Captain requires a U-Serve POS server and a licensed device. Ask your restaurant's administrator for the server address, device licence and your staff PIN. Without them the app has nothing to show.Read more
