About

Hagah is a quiet Bible app for meditation and prayer, with the whole Bible in text and audio. Instead of a new verse every morning, you stay with one passage all week, day and night. No ads. No streaks. No account. MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT "In his law doth he meditate day and night." Psalm 1:2 • One passage waits for you each time you open the app, over a quiet nature photograph that changes each day. • Keep it for a week, change it daily or monthly, or hold it as long as you need. • Read it in context with one tap. Bookmark it, save it for prayer, add a note or share it. • Keep it near with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, or ask Siri for "my Hagah verse." PRAY WITHOUT CEASING "Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 • Pray with Scripture: give thanks with Psalm 100, ask for help with Psalm 13, confess and return with Psalm 51, pray for others with Ephesians 3. • The Lord's Prayer, all 150 Psalms, four prayers of Paul, and the prayers of Hannah, Solomon, Hezekiah, Daniel, Jonah, Habakkuk, Mary and Simeon. • Keep your own prayers. Pin the ones you return to and attach a verse. • Up to three quiet reminders, morning, afternoon and evening, each set to meditate, to pray, or both. Your personal prayers never appear in a notification. THE WORD IS ALIVE "For the word of God is quick, and powerful." Hebrews 4:12 • 185 engravings by Gustave Doré sit above their chapters, and every book opens with one. Tap one to see it full screen. • A guide to all 66 books: who wrote it, to whom, its parts and its people, with maps for many books. • In the King James text, press and hold a word to see the original Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek, with its Strong's number and definition, even offline. Hold "meditate" in Psalm 1:2 and you find hagah: to murmur, to ponder. • Compare any two translations, passage by passage, side by side on iPad. LISTEN AND FOLLOW ALONG • KJV and ESV, narrated and dramatized, with each verse highlighted as it is read. Tap a verse to jump there. • Also: NLT narrated and dramatized, the NKJV New Testament narrated, and the Russian Synodal Bible dramatized. • Speed from 0.75x to 2x, a sleep timer that can stop at the end of a chapter, background play and Lock Screen controls. • Download eligible recordings to listen offline, over Wi-Fi by default. TRANSLATIONS The complete King James Version is built in and works offline. ESV (2007 text edition), NKJV, NLT (2015 text edition), NASB 1995 and the Russian Synodal Bible read online, and the full ESV text can be downloaded.
