About
Siparu shows you your own boat when you are not aboard. A small plugin on the Signal K server she already carries sends what her instruments are reading. This app is the screen for it: where she is, what she is doing and what her systems say, on a chart and in plain figures. WHAT YOU SEE - Her position on a chart, with her track and the vessels her AIS can hear around her - Speed and course over ground, heading, true and apparent wind, depth, barometer with its three hour trend, sea and air temperature - Engines and generators: rpm, coolant, oil pressure, fuel rate and running hours - Tanks, each one as she reports it - Batteries, shore power, chargers, solar, alternators and inverters - Passages, recorded by her without anyone pressing a button: distance, time under way, average and peak speed, fuel burned and the track she sailed - A logbook with one row an hour, kept aboard, which you can export as CSV or PDF BUILT FROM WHAT SHE SENDS The screens are made from the data your boat actually has. One engine or two, a generator or none, six tanks or one: you see what she reports, and nothing is invented to fill a gap. When a reading stops arriving the app says so in words and tells you how old the last one is. SEALED TO YOUR OWN SCREENS Your boat encrypts every report to the screens you have authorised. This phone's key is made on the phone and never leaves it. The service in between carries the sealed report and cannot read it: not her position, not her course, not her logbook. Her history is kept aboard, not on our servers, and what you have looked at stays on this phone. IT ONLY LOOKS Siparu reads. It cannot start an engine, switch a light or change a setting on your boat, and there is nothing in it that could. DAY, DUSK AND NIGHT Three colour tables, including a dimmed one for a dark cockpit. Nautical, metric or imperial units. LOOK AROUND FIRST Open the app and choose the demo boat. It needs no account and no hardware. Everything works, and the readings are invented. WHAT YOU NEED A Signal K server aboard (version 2.18 or later) with the Siparu plugin installed, a connection from the boat to the internet, and a Siparu account. Not for navigation. Siparu is a view of your boat from somewhere else, not an instrument to steer by.Read more

BUILT FROM WHAT SHE SENDS
The screens are made from the data your boat actually has. One engine or two, a generator or none, six tanks or one: you see what she reports, and nothing is invented to fill a gap. When a reading stops arriving the app says so in words and tells you how old the last one is.
SEALED TO YOUR OWN SCREENS

DAY, DUSK AND NIGHT
Three colour tables, including a dimmed one for a dark cockpit. Nautical, metric or imperial units.
LOOK AROUND FIRST
Open the app and choose the demo boat. It needs no account and no hardware. Everything works, and the readings are invented.
WHAT YOU NEED
