Decide whose request to meet, what to postpone and how much trust you can afford to lose. MANAGE THE CONSEQUENCES Balance cash, trust and pressure. Use the Promise Ledger to fulfill or renegotiate promises and prioritize payments. At month end, divide limited management points between people, obligations and the office. If you have reserves or upgraded capacity, you can turn some into cash, at a cost. PEOPLE REMEMBER Meet 18 fictional characters whose stories respond to earlier choices. Work through three-stage crises and face a final audit that records both the numbers and your treatment of people.
