READ THE PHONE Scroll her messages, her camera roll and her notes the way you would on any phone. Check the times. Notice who stops answering. WRITE THE MEMO Fill in what happened, one blank at a time, from what you found. Send a draft and your boss tells you how many answers are wrong. Never which. TEXT THE PEOPLE WHO WERE THERE They're adults now. Some will talk to you. One will block you. They answer in real time, in minutes or hours, so put the phone down and come back.
