FlightCue

FlightCue helps drone pilots shoot in the best light. Pick a spot and a date. FlightCue computes the real sun position for that exact place and hour — golden hour, blue hour, sunrise, sunset — then recommends cinematic shot techniques matched to your subject and the look you want. WHAT IT DOES • Real sun timing for your exact location, date and hour • 13 cinematic maneuvers — reveals, orbits, fly-overs, top-downs and more • Every shot resolves the sun to a real compass bearing, so you know which way to point the camera • Stylized 3D previews of each move, lit by the real sun position for your spot and hour (an illustrative scene, not your location) • Add your drone and be warned when an hour would exceed its rated wind or temperature limits, with a separate rain caution when the forecast shows a chance of precipitation • Save favorite spots and compare them by light and wind • Hourly weather from Apple Weather FREE • 2-day hourly forecast • 7 shot maneuvers • Sun timing, your drone's limits, saved spots and the safety checklist — always free, never part of a purchase FLIGHTCUE PRO • 10-day hourly forecast, instead of 2 • All 13 maneuvers — 6 more advanced moves • Light alerts — a notification when good light is on the way at a spot you've saved Pro is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings at any time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No accounts. No ads. No tracking. We never receive your spots or your drones — they stay on your phone. SAFETY FlightCue is creative technique guidance only. It does not check airspace, TFRs, obstacles, or authorizations, and it is not a flight-planning or navigation tool. It never draws flight paths over real locations. Always do your own airspace study, pre-flight inspection, and weather brief from official sources, and follow all rules that apply to you. You are pilot in command.
